Aren’t 1st gen and second gen the same form factor though? I think the 1st gen fits the second gen as well.

Actually, go to the website. You will find that this is only available for 1st and 2nd generation IPODS and not the 3rd gen.

I just heard that, replacing the battery on the ipod was very expense.How true is that? If so,were do I get ,my replacement battery for a new genration ipod at the lowest cost,with instructions on how to replace the battery.
