iPods fall domino style in new Tekserve ad
Tekserve, a large independent Apple Specialist in New York City, has created a new ad that features close to two hundred iPods, estimated to have an original value of $50,000, falling like dominoes. The 15-second commercial will begin running every 20 minutes on the large LED display outside of Madison Square Garden from May 1 through June 30. “Despite our rather rough treatment of the iPods, I want to assure Apple lovers everywhere that no iPods were hurt during the filming of this commercial,” said Tekserve’s Dick Demenus.

Yawn. Its comparable to reporting your neighbor just bought an iPod. The ad is boring, and poorly made.

This reminds me of a display I saw in Kroger yesterday. You can get so many free downloads from Sony if you buy so much groceries. The gotcha? The device displayed in the picture was an iPod.

Very cute ad . Check out the Honda cog ad to see an amazing version of this type of advertisement.

I enjoyed it—love to see that many iPods together in one room. Maybe would have enjoyed it better if they would have used black as well to play up the dominoes effect. even other colors/models could have been used.
