iStyles has introduced its new line of Skins for the iPhone 3G. Skins feature high resolution full-color designs printed with UV resistant inks on premium grade adhesive-backed cast vinyl, which is covered with a clear protective layer for added durability. The Skins use a patented repositionable and removable adhesive backing for easy placement and residue-free removal. Each Skin comes in a two-piece set that includes coverage for both the front and rear of the iPhone 3G, and also includes a special download code for free matching background wallpaper. iStyles Skins for iPhone 3G are available in a variety of designs and sell for $7 each.

All of these are also available from http://www.decalgirl.com/browse.cfm/2,276.htm - no idea if it’s the same company, or what the deal is, but they seem to carry the exact same products, nothing less, nothing more.

I really like some of the designs, but why obscure the screen with the front decal? I would have to throw out the front skin and buy a separate clear protector for the front. These things should be no more than a few dollars anyway. $6.99 is definitely too much.

Chris,
The screen is not obscured by a protector as you think.
The screen is actually displaying the same picture as a wallpaper to your selected stick on skin. You download this from their site “also includes a special download code for free matching background wallpaper. iStyles Skins for iPhone 3G are available in a variety of designs ”
