iTMS adds ‘Tell a Friend’ feature
The iTunes Music Store now features a “Tell a Friend” link for sharing with others. Simply click the link, fill out the form and tell a friend about your new discovery. “‘Tell a Friend’ links let you send email (that includes an album cover and a link back to the iTunes Music Store) to all your friends. You can even include a personal message. Try it today.”

Now there’s a workaround to getting cover art off iTMS for use on your own ripped music! Simply “tell a friend” to yourself, then drag the image from your received email, back into iTunes onto the tracks you need art for.
I’ve tested it, and it works!

Lol… nice tip. I just use Amazon.com, and “Click for Larger Image.”
You can drag *Right from IE* into iTunes…

Or be a really nice friend and just let your friend make copies of all of your cds while you make copies of all of theirs. Then just rip all that music to your hard drive. Sharing is something that we all should have learned in pre-school.

Where is this “tell a friend” link in the iTMS? I don’t see it.

I’ve found the images at WalMart.com to be of higher quality than those on Amazon.com, so I use the WalMart images whenever possible.

Most of the time Amazon are good, but there are many albums with poor quality scans, or no art at all. With iTunes, you know it’s quality (even if this method is only small sized)
a, that’s not sharing, it’s copying.
