Anyone else have trouble setting up an account with ipodxtras.com? I add everything to cart, then checkout, fill in all the information, click continue, and it says that my e-mail address “appears” to be invalid. I’ve tried two different e-mail addresses, and both had the same response. (I couldn’t even use the “contact us” to tell them about it, because of the same problem…)

I’ve always liked PC/Mac Connection, but they want $8.24 to ship a 0.5 lb item via ground. So the total price is actually 25 cents more. I just placed an order at iPod Xtras, and the account system seems to be fixed now, too.

However, when Mac Connection says they have something in stock, they don’t put a note on your account about expecting some iTrip mini’s in “next week” but he’ll be out of town, so that’s “a problem.” No email was sent- we had to log in to find this out. I think we’ll be canceling this order and not shopping at iPod Xtras again.
