iTunes planned for EU expansion in October

“Apple Computer is planning the next wave of expansion for its popular iTunes online music store with a multi-country European launch in October, the service’s chief architect said on Wednesday.
“We are well on pace to launch more EU stores. We will do it next month,” Eddie Cue, Apple’s vice president of applications told music executives at the annual Popkomm conference in the German capital.”

Funny how some ‘Brits.’ want to have it both ways to be in the EU but not to give up the Pound. I’m sure Apple wold love to sell you Songs for 77p, but unlike the rest of the EU ‘€-Zone’ a € is a € any difference in price is useualy just local VAT Tax. Why not press your Govt. to dump the Pound for the € and join the 21st Century??

We can have it both ways right now as it’s our democratic right to keep the pound for now and still be a part of the EU.
