According to research firm Forrester’s latest Customer Experience Index, iTunes ranks behind other online retailers such as Amazon and eBay. The Index is based on responses from 4,653 U.S. consumers who were asked to rate companies based on three main questions: “How effective were they at meeting your needs?” “How easy was it to work with these firms?” and “How enjoyable were the interactions?” iTunes came in with a #46 ranking, far below that of top-rated Barnes & Noble, fourth-ranked Amazon, and #14 eBay. Apple itself came in at #35 in the list; both Apple’s and iTunes’ rankings are considered “good.” [via AppleInsider]

Okay, I can understand that Amazon might score higher, but eBay? WTF?

There are a lot of PC folks that dislike iTunes - whether it’s dislike of Apple transferred to iTunes or real dissatisfaction, I don’t know.
For me, been using it for years, and frankly, it’s one of the best online experiences I have.
Not perfect - apps that don’t need updating often appear in the updates window - but that’s minor…

I don’t get it. What’s not to like? I’m a huge complainer, and I have no complaints about iTunes, unless I run into something it doesn’t have, which is rare.

How about the fact that it’s really hard to get songs to transfer over something else. iTunes is wayyy too protected.
I do use it though. I do like it more than any other music player out there right now, but that’s because there isn’t a whole lot of top notch music players out there.
