The iTunes Store in the U.K. is now offering HD movies for purchase. According to Mac Rumors, the library of titles available in HD is currently very limited, with The Twilight Saga: Eclipse standing as the highest-profile title currently available. New release titles, priced at £9.99 for standard definition versions, are selling for £12.99, while older titles which are normally £6.99 in SD are £7.99 in the higher-quality format. Apple launched standard definition movie sales and rentals of both standard- and high-definition films in June 2008.
