IvySkin has introduced its new Wrangler Case for the iPhone 4. Based on the company’s prior SmartCase, the Wrangler Case features an all-new polarized glass Touch-Thru screen guard, integrated protection for the volume, sleep/wake, and Home buttons, integrated port covers for the Dock Connector and headphone jack, open access to the bottom microphone, speaker, and cameras, a two-piece design, compatibility with both GSM and CDMA iPhone 4 models, an inner lining of shock absorbing material, and an exterior made from solid polycarbonate. IvySkin’s Wrangler Case for the iPhone 4 is available now in a variety of colors and sells for $50.

I bought this case in July 2011. When I received the box it stated Quattro 4. No where did it indicate that this was a Wrangler. Afraid to open the package, I tried to reach customer service via phone and it was impossible to reach anyone by phone. I tried for 3 weeks and finally got a hold of someone who confirmed that this was a Wrangler Case instead of the previous Quattro 4 model. So now I use the case- I notice the “-” volume button would constantly get stuck and lower the volume on my phone so I was missing phone calls, text messages & notifications. Then I noticed the screen would remain lit during phone calls- causing me to accidentally put my phone on mute or hold during calls. When I would remove the glass from the case and hold the phone up to my ear this was not an issue. So it was the glass that kept the screen lit. Soooo… I use my phone on a dock and realized that I can not place it on the dock with the case and removed it from the case. Upon reinserting the phone into the case the glass SHATTERED!!! I paid $65 (because I got the Alpine-SE case) on a piece of useless crap that IvySkin upholds and brags about this ‘award winning design’... WORST CASE EVER!
I read reviews from other people and wonder if they were smoking crack or if IvySkin got some employees to post reviews with high ratings because really this case is NOT worth it!
I would NOT Recommend this to a friend.

The worst case I have ever purchased, the materials feel cheap, the customer support is non existent. The “sales rep” didn’t have proper grammar, his grammar was so bad that even I a non native speaker noticed.
The case I received isn’t even the one IvySkin shows in its website, the box and the instruction manual says it is a Quattr4 case and not a Wrangler case. My case has rubbery-cheap black power and volume buttons which provide absolutely no tactile feedback when pressing the buttons and the top and bottom parts leave a small gap between them when I put them on my phone. The sales rep said the gap was caused because I removed the case incorrectly (no instructions manual provided) and then stopped answering me when I asked them why my case is different than the one pictured in their website and what the procedure that causes the gap is.
Overall, it’s a terrible case and an even worse company.

I have an IvySkin Wrangler on my 4s and it’s been great so far. Phone works great within the case. The case itself is well-made, no gaps, all the buttons work perfectly. Feels like it will be a great case. Much easier to carry than the Otterbox I had for my previous iPhone. My box was marked Quattro4 on the front with a Wrangler sticker on the bottom and there were clear instructions for putting everything together. Couldn’t be a better experience!

I’ve been using this case for about 4 months and the more I use it, the more I love it…
It’s a great design. It was an expensive purchase but you get what you pay for. I compare my case with others out there and it’s much superior in design and function.
I highly recommend it to anyone with iPhone 4
