IvySkin has rolled out its new Quattro 4 case and SmartCase battery case for the iPhone 4. The Quattro 4 is a multi-layer case made from polycarbonate, polysilicon, enhanced TPE, and glass for the touch-thru screen. It features push-through protectors for the volume, sleep/wake, and Home buttons, open access to all ports, controls, and the camera, and a slide-off design for easy docking. The Quattro 4 is available now in a variety of colors and is priced at $45. Available for pre-order is the SmartCase for iPhone 4. Based on the Quattro 4, the SmartCase adds a 1500mAh onto the back of the case, with a USB port for charging and syncing, an integrated LED status indicator, on/off switch, and included back plate identical to that of the Quattro 4 for times when the battery isn’t needed. It sells for $80 and is expected to ship in the coming weeks.

Be careful with their pre-orders. They have missed the iPad case ship dates 3 times. If you get impatient, they will not refund your money until the item ships and you return it. No credabilty in my book.

I’ve been waiting for their new 4 cases, I had their first smartcase for my iPhone 3G and it was a great case. I’ll be ordering the quattro 4 case now and add the battery pack when they get them in stock.

Are these cases better than otterbox cases? Battery case aside.

I agree with Paul. I pre-ordered the iPad case which still is not available after 3 months so I had to cancel it.
Got the iPhone 3GS Quattro T4 case as well which I think is one of the best iPhone cases available.

I’ve had both ivyskin and otterbox, for me ivyskin provides more protection in a much slimmer package. The defender case is toooooo bulky. The screen on the quattro case is made of glass but the defender case was plastic and always stick to the screen creating a water mark/bubble effect. The coating on IvySkin case is much nice as well. It doesnt stick to your purse or pocket like the silicon does on otter box.
I just ordered one of these quattro cased for my new iPhone 4

This case is horrible… My phone keeps sounding like it’s getting plugged in to charge. Then unplugging. I had to switch my phone to vibrate so I wouldn’t hear it. I purchased it for my trip to Disney it did keep my phone charged but useless if the phone vibrates every few seconds or chirps like it’s getting charged.
