JaDu unveils Skadoosh stand for iPad

JaDu Industries has unveiled its upcoming Skadoosh stand for the Apple iPad. Made from aluminum, the Skadoosh uses an adjustable, lockable “rocker” to hold the iPad at the desired angle in either horizontal or vertical orientation; when placed horizontally, the Dock Connector is accessible for charging purposes. Other features include a flip-out rear support and an included carrying pouch. JaDu’s Skadoosh stand for iPad will be available in early May and will sell for around $60.

I have made 3 unsuccessful attempts to buy a Skadoosh, which appears to be beautifully designed and finished, online. Maybe their IT staff need to do some urgent work on the site!

The stand black pieces that hold the iPad look as if they will SCRATCH my beloved iPad. No thanks. Why do these companies design such as this? Do you know how much we love our Apple products?
Just to let you know how much I love my iPad. I have Zagg’s invisibleShield protecting the iPad. I put my iPad into a suave fabric bag and then put that into a carrying case.
With daily use, it will scratch the back. Please go back and redesign.

JTT, you sound very sure that this will scratch the iPad, but it looks to me like the black pieces are there to prevent scratches. What makes you so confident?

Ordered mine a couple weeks ago and can’t wait. The many adjustable positions is the main selling point here. I hope it’s built as good as it looks.
