Jamo recently introduced the i300 speaker system for all dockable iPods. The 2.1 system includes a standalone powered subwoofer, two compact satellite speakers, an iPod dock, and wireless remote control. “The system’s versatility extends far beyond filling your room with tunes stored on your iPod,” says Jamo. “The control dock (which charges your iPod too) is also fitted with an extra auxiliary input on its rear panel so that you can hook up your computer, portable DVD player or games console to the system. Still got another source that you want to hook up? No problem—there’s yet another input on the subwoofer itself.” Pricing was not available.

How exactly is this any different from the dozens of other 2.1 computer speaker systems that have been out for years? Oh wait…it is white and comes with a crappy dock. How exciting.

What bugs me is all of the pictures of the display have no wires, as though it’s a wireless system. Notice how you never see ugly wires in these ads?

I am listening to one of theese right now, and can honestly say that it has the best sound I’ve heard from an iPod docking Sub/Sat system. Great seperation and tight, controlled bass+refined highs, (lack of mids though).
The dock is nice and finish is beautiful, tad expensive but beats klipsch, bose and apple hi-fi hands down….wicked.

I just got hold of one of these in black to match my ipod, this system is s@*t hot, it sounds better than any other dock/speaker system i have tested out, and ive hooked up my TV and mac through it also.. £250 not a bad price for the UK online, i could not find one in the UK for less…
