the cases woiuld be perfect apart from the fact that the corners aren’t protected, the velcro flap sticks out and you have to buy a screen protector for 5 bucks, like really?

Anyone know if the Apple case for the 3G will fir the 4G?  Not sure of the model number, but it is the one that Apple has on their web-site for $39.99.

Now that Apple’s made it crystal clear that iPods are disposable hardware on a timetable to quick obsolesence, what really is the reason to buy a protective case for an iPod?  It’s like buying bone china and silverware to eat McDonald’s on.

Just use your iPod normally and let it acquire abuse… it’ll be obsolete by the time it gets to that point no matter how careful you are.
