Just Mobile has introduced its new UpStand for the Apple iPad. Made from aluminum, the UpStand features a circular base with an angled iPad cradle suspended above by two support poles, non-slip feet, and rubber on the supporting grips to keep the iPad in place while offering protecting for unencased iPads. It is compatible with most iPad cases, as well. Just Mobile’s UpStand for the iPad is available now from Macsense and sells for $50.

With the proliferation of these stands, the iPad with keyboard is beginning to look more and more like a miniature iMac.
Without the mouse. Without the apps. Without the USB ports. I might as well spend a little bit more money and get a 13” MBP that has a camera, Firewire, USB, etc. etc. etc.

Why would anybody buy an iPad stand that wasn’t height and angle adjustable? Both these features are conspicuously missing from the manufacturer’s website description!
