Kaftan has introduced a new line of iPod cases made of fabric resembling oriental carpets. “Kaftan Covers reflect the same warm tones, exquisite patterns and traditional motifs that enthralled Marco Polo in 1272 as he traversed the globe,” says the company. “Oriental carpets were hand-woven in antiquity as gifts for palaces and kings. Kaftan’s contemporary creative design securely wraps your iPod in globally inspired rich colors and ancient patterns. Complement your iPod nano and video with Kaftan’s custom-dyed, fully lined covers.” The cases come in four designs for iPod nanos ($13 each) and three designs for fifth-generation iPods ($16 each).

An attractive case, with an attractive price. Good luck to them.

VERY reasonable price - I can see that attracting customers who might not think a case like this is in their range.
Looking at the photo one…perhaps they can sell enough of these to expand into custom cases. I can think of many photos I’d like to see turned into a cloth case with a nice finish like this. I’d pay double for the ability to upload my photo to them and get a custom case in return.
