hmm. this whole software compatibility chart is a bit more official than Gayle’s post in the discussions, but it is also sort of ominous. I was optimistic, but I’m starting to wonder if 1.3 will indeed be the final software update for older pods. Still no whys, just cold hard facts. boo hiss.

And 1.3 still isn’t out for Windows iPods, although that chart doesn’t seem to mention it.
