The $35 accessory features a USB 2.0 port that can be used to charge iPods and other USB-powered devices such as an iPod shuffle, cell phone or PDA. The charger comes with a detachable USB 2.0 to dock connector cable with pass-through dock connector port for use with other accessories. “Driving and your iPod naturally go together,” says Kensington. “Keep the sound moving with the Kensington 4-in-1 Car Charger for iPod that powers click wheel iPods, including iPod nano, and iPod with video.” The charger will be available next month.

WOW! This accessory seems like the BEST ipod carcharger, especially for the people like me who want to use the Griffin SmartDeck Cassette Adapter but couldn’t charge the ipod because there was only one port. Looks like this will be a hit!

I wonder if i’ll be able to use the apple FM radio/inline remote with this?
If so i would love to get one of those pass-through cables for my desk so i could charge and isten to the radio at the same time.

I have an fm transmitter thing that plugs into your cigarette lighter and it also has a usb slot to play other music such as an ipod shuffle or any other usb drive that stores music. It will also charge your ipod too and it’s smaller than this thing. I dont ever use it but it only cost me $30, $5 less compared to this one and you can’t use it for an fm transmitter either.
The brand was serious sound or something and I got it at Target. It’s green, you should be able to find it in the ipod or car accessories section.

A pass-through iPod cable is a pretty neat innovation.
