does this thing attract heaps and heaps of dust? that’s the only problem i have with silicone, and i dont want to put it in my pocket and have it come out with all this crap stuck to it

I don’t think that it will atract as much lint as before because it is thiner but If it did it would be a huge pian ‘cause I’d keep it in my apple case and loads of **** would get stuck to it.

We all know that it attracts dust but we still love ####’s silicone cases. I have his original exo2 with the thicker skin over the menu and I must say it is my favourite. If it gets some dust on it I give it a quick wipe with a damp cloth and it looks as good as new.

for those debating server / site speeds etc - you’re a bunch of sad act wankers with no obvious life. piss off and take your sad-### non-ipod related debate elsewhere.

about the itrip fitting onto the ipod with the exo2 skin, it doesnt. The skin is to thick to allow the itrip to make a connection. I cut a cm slit in the top of the exo skin, and now it fits. The above picture is FALSE ADVERTISING! I might have to call them on that one.

Snowpodder,  the Exo3 is the one they’re advertising to accept the iTrip, not the Exo2.

And that site does suck.

And my $.02 on the Apple/MS argument:

First of all, it’s apples and oranges (pardon the pun).  Apple makes a closed, proprietary system, and controls OS, hardware and software (for the most part).  MS makes an OS that people put on hardware of their choosing, and after many incarnations it’s finally as stable as Apple.

Second, while I would never pay money for an Apple PC, (Don’t like the interface, don’t find it any more stable than my WinXP PC, don’t like having a computer that is only used by 5% of the world and don’t like Steve Jobs telling me I can have any color I want, as long as it’s white) you should use whichever platform you’re more comfortable with.

Third, as a Wintel user, I have to ask the other Wintel users to please just SHUT UP.  It’s an age-old axiom in the business world that, as a frontrunner you just go on your way, and ignore the also-rans.  To acknowledge them just lets the market think they have some significance. And let’s face it, aside from the the iPod, which, BTW is the finest MP3 player by far, Apple is relatively insignificant, and becoming more so with every incarnation of Windows.

PC hardware is such a commodity these days, and as long as Apple makes the hardware and software they can’t compete.  Not on price, not on compatibility and not on inexpensive peripherals.  And if they relax their grip on the hardware side of things they will lose the “magic” that has always supposedly made Apple more stable.

Snowpodder,
That above photo is of the exo3, not exo2, so it is not false advertising.

I just got the PodPaq014 for my 15gb and it’s too loose. I’m thinking about returning it and getting the exo3 but need clarification on the product.

I want an iShade to protect the screen, and an swvclip but it looks like neither of those products are compatible with the exo3, only the older versions. Is this correct, or have they just not updated the site with this info?

Or, if I want the iShade and the swvclip, do I need to get a different exo - which I don’t want because my iTrip is shipping this week and I want to be able to leave the case and accessories on, while using the iTrip.

If someone has any answers, please advise.

Thanks in advance!
