Lajo, I used Explorer, Safari, and Netscape with the SAME RESULTS every time. I’ll try it on a PC and see what results I get.

And you still haven’t answered why we should buy the eXo2 with the imminent release of eXo3?

if your websites does not work with Safari -

i’m sorry.. that just left me speechless.

really - you should concider hiring someone - like whoever makes - to make your lajo website.  I think there’s some invovlement between the two sites - but not on the actual web page design…

or just make a section of iPodlounge be a iskin, exo skin, xskn what the hell ever ordering page.

honestly - i REEALY would like to find out about all of these cases - i’m totaly frustrated with my Marware crappy case for the 3G ipods.. but i’m practically unable to get any info on what appear to be the best cases

i REALLY like my eXo case - looks good, nice protection. Better than the Marware case. I actually use the eXo with a Booq case if I want some really rugged protection.

But honestly, Lajo’s site leaves me frustrated and with little incentive to be a repeat customer. And I think most of us are still waiting to hear why we should get eXo2 when eXo3 is coming out in December.

Yeah, the iSkin case is great.  It’s only weakness imho is it needs to be a little thicker for more protection.  It’s worth the extra bulk.  If that’s the case with eXo2/3 as it sounds, I’ll be getting one.  I just wish I find out the details more easily on the website.

Is there going to be a different price structure? Lajo, I know you must be a good businessman, but part of marketing is getting your customers to want/need your product. And it ain’t too hard of a job with us Mac loyalists…

Take Apple’s example. They have new g4 iBooks with the top end coming near the low end of PowerBook G4’s. Apple still makes the differentiation between the two product lines.

So, again, we ask: what’s our motivation to spend $32 now when we now something newer is just around the corner? At least tell us what makes eXo2 and 3 different, so we can make purchasing decisions; or else we’ll move on.

I would think that if eXo2 offers everything you want in a case then it would be a good decision to buy it, but if it doesn

As you may already know in Toronto and I have parted ways in October of this year. Xskn, which I have formed since is a label for you to identify soft silicone cases that are designed, manufactured and guaranteed by me and as of October iSkin will be the label for product designed and manufactured and guaranteed by, ackNOWLEDGE in Toronto.  I will proceed to sell off the iSkin stock I have in China and because they are my designs I will label the once I want to continue to manufacture with on them. So this also means if you have praise or complaints you must direct them to in Toronto and like wise they are not responsible for praise or complaints from  We will be friendly competitors and I am very excited at the idea that my good friend will start to design products because I consider him to be one of the best.

Lajo, it doesn’t work that way. Generally, consumers such as myself like selection, but we want to know what differentiates one item in a product line from another.

If you told me: “eXo1 has basic protection and costs $20; eXo2 offers scroll-wheel protection and costs $30; the eXo3 will have screen protection built-in and have a little thicker protection” or something like that. Then I know what would be best for me.

Please understand I am trying to offer contructive criticism here, from a consumer’s perspective. I like your product - but I want to know what product is the best for me.

Scott, he already told you some of what you want to know two messages up.  Reread it, and notice where he says that eXo2 will have a thicker “more heavy duty case” and zipper to get the iPod in and out (since the thicker window presumably won’t stretch as much as iSkin).  He also said he’s working on the website to get the rest of the details up and easy to find soon.  Speaking as a web dev, that’s not an overnight job.  So why don’t we cut the guy some slack, have a little patience, and stop acting like a bunch of four-year-olds throwing tantrums b/c we didn’t get any green M&M’s in our cookie.  Lajo makes a press release announcing some cool new products for our beloved iPods, and is inundated with b1tchy complaints about everything from his website to his press release.  Honestly people…

Wow, Byron, that web developer job must be really stressful…you outta switch to decaf and look into Prozac. Or at least lay off the Taco Bell and pIzza…

That must be part of my problem, I like expresso and pizza but you know I think I will stay with it.

Hey, Lajo
Any luck on a better belt clip? While I love the case, I can’t use it until I get a stronger clip. Thanks.

Posted by DocJeff on November 9, 2003 at 5:22 PM (CST)

There will be 2 belt clips, one for casual wear (in the mold making process) and the other for sports (test sample being made then off to mold making). Both will work with the existing eXo case and the Xskn and eXo2 case

Paul, congrats on completely missing the point.  I’m sure you do that a lot, with your head stuck up your @rse like that.  There’s constructive criticism and there’s b1tchy criticism, and the ability to hide behind the anonymity of the internet doesn’t give cause for acting like spoiled brats.  Reread some of the threads above and think about that for a while before responding again.  Cheers.

Byron, you are taking it too seriously it is only a case not a life or death situation. Look at my site on Thursday and you will be able to get some more information, (a picture is worth a 1000 words) is the place to look. Do not expect the changes you want to see in the ordering flow until later this month that takes time but for sure there will be other sites that have eXo2 on it this month.

You are acting like the immature child now with all that name called. Come outside your mommy’s basement and see how people operate in the real world.

Then again, you probably don’t fit through the door. You’ve added nothing valuable to this thread, so I guess I’ll continue. Take your finger out of your @rse long enough to read, with an objective eye, what the rest of the pople here are trying to say?

No, I guess not…you are too busy watching Star Trek reruns, I guess…..LOL

Thanks for being so responsive to you customers comments here. I think most of them have tried to be contructive, others just…well, you know. I think we all appreciate the fact that you’ve taken a personal interest in our converns, etc.

Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Lajo, I was sticking up for you actually.  Was it not clear when I said “So why don’t we cut the guy some slack, have a little patience,” that I was referring to you and your endeavor to create a product people here will like?  Do comments like the following not make you want to quit making iSkins for a bunch of ingrates, or at the least, bother you?

“32 bucks? this lajo guy should go back to russia…” -podlover

“lajos website has to be the most inane, non-working, confusing, unclear, badly layed out, bag over the head.. ” -steve jobs

“Is it me or is this website the best-looking WORST site I’ve ever seen?” -hi

“What the #$*@? Lajo, what is up with that??” -Scott  (To Scott’s credit, he calmed down a bit after venting.)

My point is that all that bs could have been said in a more constructive, courteous way, but people think they can say anything on the internet, and so deserved a little of their own medicine.  Lajo can’t dish it b/c he’s trying to sell a product to very people who need a lesson in common courtesy.

And Paul, as for contributing to this thread, reread what you’ve written with an objective eye and tell me what you’ve contributed.  You may notice that your only posts were responses to mine, and offer no criticism or suggestions of any kind to Lajo.  Then reread all of mine and notice that several of my posts actually do offer constructive criticism (not b1tchy, mind you) and polite requests.  As you’ve proved beyond a shadow of a doubt, you wouldn’t know objectivity if it were tattooed on your eyeball.  So before you presume to tell me that I haven’t contributed anything, get a clue first.
