The Staylazy.net Community, a not-so-new idea to the internet is part of the Staylazy.net Network. The Community is a music based website where its members can submit song lyrics, and have them viewable by other visitors of the website. Members can comment on the lyrics, either negatively or positivley, basically like a recommendation for people.
Heres the cool part. For every song that a user submits, and is available on the iTunes Music Store, a link will be given to download its album, or just that song. Hopefully, this will be another way for the iTunes Music Store, and The Community to grow.

weather for me did not exist

Hmm… Don’t really think I get it. I’d love to see this thrive, but who wants to type out / copy & paste lyrics just to recommend a song?
Lyrics.com has a zillion lyrics anyway.
Dailytunes.com is a much better idea. Recommend a song just by copying in its iTMS URL… all the other info is automatically submitted. For a user-driven site to be successful, it must be user-friendly!!

The user does not have to enter anything about iTunes when submitting a lyric/artist
Posted by zeve on December 6, 2003 at 2:11 PM (PST)
5
I’m aware of that, but submitting lyrics is a lot more intensive than simply submitting a URL.

Also… when submitting a song, WE have to check your database and your ‘waiting approval database’ before we post? WE have to submit an ‘artist’ before we submit a song by that artist? Shouldn’t this stuff be automatic?
Again… user-friendliness is key to making a good, usable, useful website.

you dont have to. but you should to save time. it will tell u if the artist is already pending or in the DB

also, its not just to recommend a song
its to discuss the song—discussing the meanings of lyrics, and what they mean to you

i totally agree with gybona and azdude.
and by the way, what is that registration for, to join in the community? you eaven have to registrate the use of weather for me.
are you selling the email adresses zeve ?
ps: i dont think its necessary that you exculpate yourself here in the comments, thats what the forum is build for.

yeah iam selling the email address
no you idiot. its because every member has a user profile. and what do you want, anybody to be able to submit lyrics, this would result in people simply abusing the website.
grimmet, you really need to think before you speak, not the first time ive heard nonsense comments from you

Zeve, okey. Now you’re just being an a-hole.
Just because people don’t like the idea or software and are giving you ‘feedback’ dosen’t mean that you answer using words like idiot and so on. I love weather for me but seriusly, what the meaning of this community?

what the hell. this is not the right place for to start a flamewar.
and why do i need a profile, for using weather for me? hae?
common that was an serious question. !
Ans a civil question deserves a civil answer.
hey , and before i forgot: something for your nonsense comments collection. its quoted from the news section of your website:

staylazy.net is a personal site. the main page has nothing to do with staylazy.net software or community
the “news” section as u call it is just a blog for myself
weather for me asks u to register so you get the tech support your need, so we know how many people are actually using the software. many people download software, but never install it.
