LYWD debuts Leaf metal skins for iPhone 4

Australia-based LYWD has debuted its new Leaf metal skins for the iPhone 4. The company’s first product for the iPhone, Leaf is a rear skin/panel for the iPhone 4, made from a single piece of stainless steel to match the phone’s external antennas and precisely cut to the phone’s exact rear dimensions. Leaf skins are available now in four distinct patterns—Wave, Maze, Fold, and Fern—and are priced at $30 each.

I can’t imagine a stuck-on big sheet of metal doing wonders for the iPhone 4’s troubled reception.

@Farnsworth: There’s no reception issue since a]. the antenna is external; b]. Leaf does not touch or cover the antenna band; we’ve tested it for months - you will see when reviews come in
