Inside that folder will be subfolders labeled “F00—Fxx” inside those folders is your music. You can drag either the “Music” folder or any of the “Fxx” folders to iTunes to import that music into a library so it can be played from the iPod.

Implemented a catch for the possibly missing “stat” program.
Added “stat” to the dtools.sit package.
Updated readme with information regarding all user-reported errors.
License: Shareware $5.00

Doesn’t work if you haven’t developper tools installed. :(

There are just too many of these utilities out there for the iPod, for copying files back to the host computer. Though I would not mind if the were all free, I think that charging $5.00 for software of this functionality is asking for too much.
You can achive the same effect by simply following the following steps:
go to the “go” menu in finder
choose “go to folder” (or whatever the entry above “connect to server” is called)
type in “/Volumes/<name of iPod as it appears on the desktop>/iPod_Control/Music/fxx/ (where XX is 00-19, each of these 20 folders contain a fraction of your music collection)
You then have the same functionality as this program. Heck, you can copy over your entire music collection by just using 1 command in terminal.
