Text Reader saves text files as audio files using Text-To-Speech. Can be used to then copy the audio file to an iPod for later listening.

hey, i wonder if you can get better voices for the text-to-speech option. the default ones SUCK!!! i mean, you cant get a decent British accent, only some some demented american voices (ok some of them arent that bad) but you cant understand them!

Text Aloud does the same for windows, is WAYYY too inexpensive to believe and offers pristine voices from AT&T or the standard voice (Mary) which I use almost always.
