Whoo hooooo!!!
Radio charts are awesome!!
These are all great (minor) improvements…
Let’s hope they’re there for the right reasons. (Meaning… I hope these are not simple minor concessions to “soften the blow” of future price hikes)

Yeah, I won one song from the Ben & Jerry’s ETOV Turn It Around Sweepstakes. And I went to go buy a song. It brought up that page which list the new features. I clicked ok or something and it started to download my song. Cool.

Hi tony I would suggest the following.
Wait until they release 4.5 for download or upgrade.
Maybe it will become free during Steve Jobs call.
I thought I would just help. I probably didn’t. Have a nice day.

I wonder what the lossless thing is. AFAIK there’s no lossless part of the AAC standard yet.

To whoever is having the foo fighters problem,
It’s just one song that’s free- “My Hero”. Notice the price next to it- .00. before you hit buy next time, make sure to read…
Hope this helps,
-Matt

Hi Matt,
I didnt see anything saying about O cents, and also i didnt even get a warning before downloading. Now i cant log back on because Itunes keeps downloading the whole album. and ive tried five times to send an email to ITMS but my request cant be sent for some reason, and i even have a MAC account..

Four thumbs up!

the flickering is caused by the itunes sidekick. remove iTunes_Sidekick.dll from the plugin folder in the itunes directory

I want to use the new version, do I have to uninstall the old one? I don’t want to lose all my album art and ratings and so on…

Whilst these improvements are great, a lot of them are only useful to US users as they rely on the Music Store. For those of us outside the US, the wait is a massive irritation, especially given the fact that I doubt the Music Store will ever be available here (in South Africa).

Damn, still need a credit card to get the free download. Thought it would be a nice way to try out the store from over here in Australia, but guess not.
Addition of a lossless codec, and the party shuffle are both welcome.
