iLounger Thomas Rai has informed us that Apple Specialist MacConnection.com is now shipping iPod minis to the United Kingdom or other non U.S. addresses. We’ve called MacConncetion and spoke with a representative and they confirm that they will ship the iPod mini to any UK or other address. Apple is scheduled to release the iPod mini to worldwide markets in April, but for those who don’t want to wait can order through MacConnection. Contact MacConnection for shipping costs.
Editor’s note: According to reader’s comments, MacConnection stopped shipping iPod minis to international addresses at the request of Apple.

Dont forget the courier company will present you with an invoice for tax/duty on behalf of customs by post usually a couple of days later…

UK punters should know that you will be liable for UK Import Duty and VAT if you place an order. Thomas Rai may find that DHL will bill him separately for this, plus add their admin. charge. Import Duty is around 5% (varies on product) and VAT 17.5% - you need to add these to both the purchase price and shipping costs. Based on a 20 dollar shipping price and 1.9 currency conversion rate this adds around £32 to total cost if my maths is OK!

Okay let me clear it all up. I’ve just been on to Macconnection and they WERE shipping overseas - but they were not given permission to do so, and apparently apple called them up on it. So as of now they are not shipping ipods overseas. Drat, eh…

There’s a few out there brought mainly from Ebay, but as far as I’m aware your the first from a US Mac dealer! - well done!
Pity Macconenctions topped selling the mini-ipods internationally, alot of disspointed people but not their fault. Not sure if those who got their orders accepted have now been cancelled automatically.
How did you manage to track you order, I got a order number thats it!
