yeah, really… Bible is great book,even outside of religion…check out the book of proverbs..lots of practical advice there.

anyhow, to answer the first post, the reason bibleplayer doesnt have the NIV, NASB is because those versions require a licensing fee. for NIV they want $20k upfront AND $20 per unit copy. Insane for the small fish in the bond.

Great idea for a program! Im already loving it. The “read the bible” section works perfectly fine but the devotionals, bible in a year, and bible stories do not seem to load of my iPod mini.

you need to remove some books from the Bible folder so that it can load all the other ones. Try taking the entire OT folder out.

That’s damn straight. I particularly like the advice from on-high about how to deal with menstruatating women (put them outside in a tent at the end of the yard for a week or so), Lebanese (Philistines: slaughter them all, unto the last man, woman, and child), slaves and concubines (impregnate them but don’t give their offspring any property rights), and scampi (avoid avoid avoid).

Lots of good tips there.

Why bother reading the bible on “notes,” when you can listen to the real deal as an audiobook. To be saved, just do the following:

1. Use your favorite file “sharing” program
2. Download some Ozzy, Metallica or just about any other great rock album
3. Drink some whiskey
4. Press play and let the healing begin!

Fiction is something that has no evidence in support of it, which would be the bible.
Darwinism actually has evidence, despite the hicks who try and make things up like ‘it’s only a theory which means it can’t be proven ha ha ha!’

Give me ONE factual example of ANYTHING from the Bible that describes an actual event.

Darwinism has evidence in support of the theory. Like, for example, DNA. We’re 99.9% identical to chimps.

Lucky for you that the First Amendment supports your right to present non-facts as facts, and lucky for me that that very same First Amendment keeps your BS out of my public schools and private life.

1% goes a long way.

And to the other people that thing that God is a load of bull. You don’t know how RARE it is for a planet like Earth to even be possible to be made. EVERYTHING had to be exactly perfect. The size, the distance from sun, a moon, plate tectonics, the atmosphere, the other planets to shield Earth from flying objects. Many others also had to be EXACTLY perfect in order for Earth to actually survive. The more SCIENCE is going into facts about ancient Earth, the more it is getting closely related to God.

In ther words, don’t talk crut unless you can back it up.
