I’ve been using this iPhone app since it first came onto the market. It had its growing pains and with each update, the bugs were worked out til version 1.3.1.
Now with the release of 2.0 , this is a total remake and not an update to previous versions.
I read on iTunes that some people were having issues with 2.0 so I decided to backup 1.3.1 in case I also ran into problems.
Issues with ver 2.0
1) The Magellan site tells you how to save your One-Touch favorites by basically emailing it to yourself and opening up the link in Magellan thereby allowing you to save it. THIS DOES NOT WORK !!!
I did this with 6 of my favorite and every time I clicked on the link in the email, the Magellan app opens up and then crashes every single time.
2) When you are using the app and want to navigate to a contact you click on the icon on the lower left. you get the Menu. If you click on contacts, then the address appears. When I click on the address, the app crashes every time. This happens with any contact I choose.
3) Adding a OneTouch in this version has problems with the contact list. With previous version of this app there was no problems. Now the app tells me that the address can not be located on the map and wants to know if you want to reenter it. By following the instructions, you go thru various steps thereby allowing the app to recognize the address.
Then I was able to save the contact as a One Touch. I attempted to use one the the OneTouch that I added and the app crashes every time.
3) When you try to do a POI search, the app crashes. You click on a category such as gas stations, it gives you a list for the nearest ones based on your location. When you click on one of the suggestions, the app crashes once again.
This update is a step in the wrong direction..I will be removing it and going back to 1.3.1

Just to put it out there… I have 2.0 installed on my Iphone 4, 4.3.3 Redsnow JB and I have had none of the issues with crashing that you described.
Then again… with Supercharged running, I have over 415MB RAM when all other apps are closed so that may be part of it…
