Marware SportGrip iPod shuffle case to ship next week
Marware today announced that its SportGrip iPod shuffle case, which was first shown by iLounge last month, will begin shipping on Monday, March 14. The $8.95 silicon protector is available in a slew of colors, including red, orange, yellow, green, blue, plum, pink, white, gray, and black. The SportGrip, which offers access to the control pad and slider switch, has an included attachment ring and carabiner to attach your iPod shuffle to a zipper, belt loop, backpack strap, and other locations.

Really glad to see they went away from the 3 or 5 pack idea, which IMO is just a way to artificially increase the price to that $25-$30 range Apple loves so much. 9 bucks for this nice little case is pretty reasonable, especially with the included carabiner which is much more useful to me than a lanyard. I will be ordering one.

$8.95 for the case but another $6.91 for shipping? You’ve got to be kidding! It’s silicone and metal; what’s going to be damaged? Stick it in an envelope with 70 cents postage and let USPS deliver it.
Guess I’ll won’t be ordering one after all.
