Matias USB 2.0 keyboard doubles as iPod shuffle dock

Matias has unveiled a new computer keyboard that features a dedicated USB 2.0 dock for the iPod shuffle (or other iPod using a USB cable).
The Matias USB 2.0 Keyboard, which was originally planned to be called the “iPod shuffleboard,” also features two USB 1.1 ports for other devices such as your mouse and joystick. It comes in two versions—a white, Mac-only version with Option Key symbols like the company’s OS X Keyboard and Tactile Pro Keyboard, and a black version that works with both Macs and PCs. They both sell for $39.95, or $49.95 with a mouse.

Perfect for a Mac Mini. And bundled with a mouse, optionally.
But WHY do companies release PRs WITHOUT updating their site until later? They lose a ton of chances to show their wares to interested customers!
So I can’t see the product on their site to know what mouse is bundled.

Actually, Matias didn’t release a PR for this product.
It was leaked by a website (not iLounge) that attended a Press preview event held earlier this week in New York City.
The company didn’t expect this to happen, so they didn’t have any webpages or anything prepared. This iLounge story has more info about it than I’ve seen anywhere else.

I very well understand Matias succumbs to the seduction of filling the bank with iPod-related cash, everybody likes to make money, but I would truely prefer them to finish version II of the TactilePro Keyboard AND *!&%$$§! MAKE IT AVAILABLE WITH INTERNATIONAL LAYOUTS THIS TIME!

I love the Matias Tactile Pro Keyboard (those of you who started with Mac eons ago will know why), but this keyboard has one feature that I simply do not care for: The bloody shuffle sticks straight up and in front of an area where I reach. During any conversation I am constantly reaching for phones, devices and the like. My shuffle is bound to get snapped clean off, damaging both my shuffle and the keyboard.
