Mix: Amazon, Apple birthday, TomTom, Vinyl
Amazon.com recently lowered iPod prices slightly, offering $20 off both the 30GB and 60GB models, and $10 off both iPod nano models.
The Associated Press notes that Apple will celebrate its 30th anniversary on April 1st and is the first to take a look back at the company’s history.
TomTom, a large European navigation device maker, has announced that its new GO units will feature integrated iPod connectivity and an on-screen interface.
BBC News reports: “Selfridges store in Oxford Street, London, will load records onto today’s state-of-the-art iPods allowing them to be played with or without crackles.”

There was an article in the paper this morning about this tranfer to iPod service. If memory serves, it going to cost a tenner per album to transfer ... a bit pricey but an ideal way to get those old dusty vinyl LP’s the iPod treatment.
