NBC Entertainment Group CEO Jeff Zucker comments on releasing “Conviction” on iTunes early: “We believe we have a youthful and energetic cast that should appeal to a new audience increasingly comfortable with this downloadable format as a viewing option, and we want to reach out to these viewers.”

iPod chip maker PortalPlayer is looking to diversify its revenue stream by introducing a new LCD product for the outside of laptop computers.
