Mix: Moble challengers, PodShow, Duke, Mopah scooter
The iPod “blows away mobile music challengers” in sound quality and usability, according to analysts at Strategy Analytics who compared the iPod to four leading music-enabled phones.
PodShow, a podcasting company recently launched by “The Podfather” Adam Curry, has received $8.85 million in financing.
Duke University has struck a deal with Public Radio International to provide digital audio files for classroom use.
The Mopah scooter is a prototype scooter that uses your iPod’s unique serial number as its key. The scooter was Michael Tseng’s senior thesis project. [via Engadget]

Mobile challenger should have looked at the newest phones like the Sanyo MM-5600 which to me sounds very close to the ipod especially since it wil play aac coded music and uses aac for ringers if so desired.
