Mix: Most Innovative, Podcasting?, Sendstation, Podcast reviews

Apple is ranked first in BusinessWeek’s list of the top 20 most innovative companies in the world. Of 940 senior executives surveyed, nearly 25% picked Apple. Second place was 3M with 11.77% and third was Microsoft with 8.53%.

A recent study by the Pew Internet and American Life Project found that 87% of internet users are unfamiliar with podcasting.

Sendstation Systems, creators of the PocketDock line of iPod adaptors, said it will donate $5 for every PocketDock FireWire, Combo, Line Out FW or USB sold through the SendStation online store before August 21, 2005 to fight hunger in Niger.

In an article entitled, ”The Podcast as a New Podium,” Virginia Heffernan of The New York Times reviews several podcasts on various topics.
