Mix: Knick Knack, Oprah’s things, Sony BMG, Tivo FAQ
A new $1.99 Pixar short, entitled “Knick Knack,” has been added to the iTunes Music Store.
Apple’s fifth-generation iPod made Oprah’s annual Favorite Things list.
Sony BMG has been hit with lawsuits by both the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the Texas attorney general over its use of hidden copy-protection software on its music CDs.

Regarding “Knick Knack,” the version available on iTunes is, to my disappointment, the toned down version shown before Finding Nemo. In the original version, the bikini girl and mermaid both had HUMONGOUS breasts. The joke was lost in the new version, it’s not nearly as funny.

That’s a shame. It’s still my favorite Pixar short but when I first saw it before Nemo I felt a little…. deflated.

The funny thing is that Knick Knack (as well as most of the other Pixar shorts) was available from the Pixar website for free download some years ago. But now it links to the iTMS ...
