Mix: shuffle support, shuffle screen, Target, 4G shuffle
Apple has posted its support page for the new iPod shuffle. The page offers a number of answers to general questions, tutorials and troubleshooting help.
Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of hardware marketing, said Apple considered including a screen and an interface for navigating the iPod shuffle, but was unable to create a system that it was happy with.
You can use coupon code TCTVTGC2SAVE at Target.com to get 10 percent off iPod and iPod accessories. The offer is valid through January 31.
One iPod owner has posted a humorous tutorial on how to turn any iPod into an iPod shuffle in three easy steps with a Post-It note as the main ingredient.

Does the post-it note also drop the size, weight, and price?
Anyway, I really don’t think that little thing needs a screen. I’m serious. They shouldn’t have even said they considered it. Their marketing strategy is quite effective—genius, even—and the last thing the Emperor’s New Tailors need to say is “we considered making New Clothes ANYONE could see, but we couldn’t pull it off.”

I almost bought my iPod from Target.com with a promo code, but I got an engraved one from Apple instead. At that time, it appeared that the codes could be used. Perhaps someone at target.com wised up, as everyone knows that iPods are generally never eligible for discounts at retail or on the web.
You can always receive current codes for 10% off at Target.com by signing up for their e-mails.
