DVForge’s Jack Campbell says that the LuxPro Super shuffle was “one of the most clever PR maneuvers” he’s ever seen by a small company, and was never intended to be released.

A week ago I wrote my “David vs Goliath” post about how LuxPro has won no matter what the Apple Lawyers do because they have gained market awareness and consumer awareness that no amount of millions in advertising could ever generate and they they were indeed VERY smart people blatantly ripping off the iPod Shuffle… and I was right!
It was a complete PR stunt to gain publicity and it paid off big time. Oh, and again, I was right.

Wow, I was going to say that people were predicting that it was a hoax and it would give them exposure, but I guess I don’t have to anymore. (I just hope FallN’s arm is ok after all the back patting he is showering on himself.)
