MLB releases sequel to At Bat iPhone app

Major League Baseball has released At Bat 2009 for iPhone and iPod touch, a new version of its app of the same name that was released last year. At Bat 2009 offers users the ability to view real-time box scores, play-by-play and video highlights, and pitch type, location, and speed data from Gameday. New for 2009, the app also gives users access to Gameday Audio, letting users listen to every regular season and postseason game live, with a choice between the home or visiting team’s announcers. At Bat 2009 is available now from the App Store and sells for $10.

It would be nice if it were bundled with the gameday audio program so you could pay one (reasonable) price and get access to both delivery methods.

I will download this again this season. The original app received some nice upgrades as the second half of the season progressed, and this Gameday Audio feature is ingenious and well worth the $10 price.
