if the iPod provides the power for the speaker, it can’t be terribly powerful. I wonder what the point of this is? The shape is hardly travel friendly

Now, there’s a product the world has been waiting for. I mean, most iPod products help to power the iPod, but what we’ve been waiting for is a travel mug that you can’t drink out of that you need your iPod to lend battery power to.
*must have*

Yeah, I have to agree with the two above posts. I am still trying to figure out the point of this. I thought good design was supposed to use something in a novel, creative way . . . not in a pointless way. This is just dumb. I’d love to hear a response from someone who saw this and thought, “I have to have that”.

Hey… It’s from MoMA. The place that let Duchamp put a urinal in the corner and call it art.

Hey this is a nice idea (though rather expensive) for your iPod to fit in vehicle cupholders. I think you could just use a regular cup and some foam rubber for a more cost-effective solution though…

Hmm, be careful that you dont accidently fill this with Diet Coke while your iPod is sitting inside!

Now that would be a waste of some perfectly good Diet Coke!

This is clever commentary… more about statement and design than functionality
