Mophie unveils cases for iPhone 3G, iPod touch 2G

Mophie/mStation has introduced two new cases for the iPhone 3G and second-generation iPod touch, along with a new case for the fourth-generation iPod nano. The Hardcase and Hardcase Plus for iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G are both made from high-quality clear polycarbonate and feature a two-piece snap together design as well as open access to all ports and controls. While the Hardcase offers open access to either devices’ screen, the Hardcase Plus features a built-in, touch-through hard plastic screen guard. The Mophie’s Hardcases for iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G sell for $25 each, while the Hardcase Plus models sell for $30 each. The company’s Hardcase for iPod nano 4G is also made from high quality clear polycarbonate, and offers a built-in screen protector, a snap together design, and open access to all ports and controls. It sells for $20. Finally, Mophie is now offering Screen Shields for both the iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G. These washable, removable, and reusable guards offer both anti-glare and UV protection, include a cleaning cloth, and sell for $12 each.

I purchased one of the Hardcase Plus shells for my Touch and I love it. It should be noted that I am a new ipod touch owner and my ipod spent a total of 0 minutes outside this case and thus I have no real way to compare it to other offerings. However, I am very pleased with the fit and finish on this case and highly recommend it.
Incidentally, Mophie had a mixup in shipping and sent me a JuicePack at first and I have to give them credit for a great customer service interaction. They are one of the few companies today that when you call the contact line you get a REAL person that cares about your experience.
Overall, kudos to Mophie…perhaps I will be buying that JuicePack from you in the future afterall.

3G iphone hard case plus works good, front cover shield has no lag and was crystal clear when delivered. bad news is the back case shield sent to me already contained scratches and lines like it was a previously used part. after numerous attempts to reach mophie customer service at the end of january i still have no response from them. very poor customer service!!!!!! try looking at the invishield or others as mophie doesn’t deserve additional business if they can’t service or respond to current customers.

Philup, I guarantee they’ve fixed the customer service issue. Try again and I am positive you’ll get treated very well! mophie has been aware of the problem and I have been put in place there to ensure that customers are treated well. We’ve made changes and have really great, attentive and personable people in place! I’m checking around to see the buzz and want everyone to know we are here for our customers.
