Ms. Pac-Man now available for iPod
Namco today announced that the arcade classic Ms. Pac-Man is now available for download on the iTunes Store for fifth-generation iPods. Features of the iPod version of Ms. Pac-Man, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, include the four unique maze designs, 256 maze levels and the “coffee break” animated intervals from the original game. Is Jr. Pac-Man the illegitimate child of Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man? They must’ve never gotten married, otherwise she’d be known as “Mrs. Pac-Man”.

that’s funny, never thought of it that way. It’s unfortunate that Pac-Man is a player, but what do you expect from a pill-eating freak who’s always running from his ghosts?

Guys, dont pre-judge. Ms PacMan and PacMan are a brother and a sister. Jr. PacMan is a little brother of.
They are…
PacMan Smith
Ms PacMan Smith
and…
PacMan OVERDOSE Smith (This one is a Junior)

I’m so glad this finlly made it to the iPod! I love the Pac Man series of games. This might be a longshot, but I’m hoping Super Pac Man will be next.

The thought of playing a twitch game like Pac-Man with the iPod click wheel does not sound like fun at all.

It doesn’t look like there’s a difference from that and pac-man. What in the world are you thinking Apple? Can’t you do any better?

doompod: Have you played the arcade games these are based on? Yes, they are obviously very similar, but Ms. Pac-Man adds several features to the tried-and-true popularity of the original.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ms._Pac-Man for details.

I would have to agree with the disappointed. If you’re going to another a release like this, atleast announce it alongside another more ‘new’ release. This is just like a slight upgrade for people that bought pac-man and grew bored with it but still love it.
