Myvu debuts Crystal EV Personal Media Viewer

Myvu has introduced its new Crystal EV Personal Media Viewer, an upgraded version of the company’s best selling Myvu Crystal. The Crystal EV has a 64” equivalent screen size, a 30% increase over the original Crystal, and also features the company’s SolidOptix screen technology, integrated stereo earphones, and full VGA resolution. It is also Made for iPod and Works With iPhone certified, and is currently available at InMotion Entertainment airport stores nationwide; further release and pricing information has yet to be announced.

I wonder if there enough bandwidth to take full advantage of the VGA resolution. I know the dock connector has a component video connector. That would be great, but if Myvu sticks to the composite connector, then the image wont look so great even on a VGA screen.
I have a VGA headset display from 22moo that uses the 5th gen iPod composite connector and it doesn’t look much better than the qVGA display I have from Myvu.
