Namco unveils Sky Gamblers for iPad

During Apple’s iPad event today, Namco unveiled its new flight simulation game, Sky Gamblers: Air Supremacy. The game puts players in the cockpit of a jet fighter, and is optimized to take advantage of the new iPad’s Retina display and A5X processor, with Namco calling it “console-quality.” Sky Gamblers: Air Supremacy will be exclusive to iOS, and launch later this month.

For dedicated gamers, they may have to consider the new iPad as an addition to their consoles. If you can get the quality of games developers are talking about on a screen of that resolution, gamers won’t be able to ignore the possibilities, and developers won’t be able to ignore the extended possibilities.
