Navigon unveils new Car Kit for iPhone 4, 3GS

Navigon has unveiled its new iPhone Car Kit. Available in versions specific to the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3G/3GS, the Car Kit includes a USB car charger with five-foot USB to 30-pin cable, a “designer” suction cup mount attachment, and a rotating iPhone mounting cradle offering open access to all ports and controls. Navigon’s new iPhone Car Kit for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3G/3GS is available now and sells for $50.

$50 for a car kit? You can buy a dedicated GPS for you car with mounting options for under $90 these days. What a rip off!

I believe this one does not have a dedicated GPS chip in it. That means it won’t work with an iPod touch.
