WHOA looks like someone doesnt like canada. Im american personally, but canada is cool to. I mean, they got both Terrence and Phillip AND Steve Nash. PLUS im not sure but isnt Nickelback from Canada? They rock regardless.
AND to go back to the original subject, the MORONIC people who waste there time on creatin plans to ruin computers should focus on something more important, like feeding the hungry, or ANYTHING else…

This isn’t current legislation. It was introduced and referred to committee in the 107th Congress in March 2002. It never went anywhere.

Even if this bill has been dismissed it still doesn’t mean that this sort of bill is never going to pop up again. Signing the petition isn’t just for this bill. Think about it. You are telling these senators your feelings about these types of bills. What better way to convey your feelings than sign a petition.

You could also write your representatives if you dislike the petition deal. At least try and do something about it unless you are apathetic(hey, don’t blame you) or disagree(don’t know why you would disagree with freedom though).

And even if they failed at this sort of copy protecting it is the principle of the thing. It is restricting your digital freedoms. Do you want the government to have a say in your personal computer and what goes in it?

Remember that Nazi Germany took over half of Europe before it was stopped. Something tells me if the Yanks were really Nazi’s, Mexico would NOT the first neighbor they annex. Remember that Canada is the US largest source for imported oil.
