iSkin today announced that it has added four new iSkin Duo color combinations—Purple Haze (clear on purple), Acid Groove (green on green), Phantom Rave (black on red) and Polar Blast (white on blue).
Designed for the iPod nano, the iSkin Duo features a dual layer shock-resistant silicone skin that “guards against bumps, scratches, dirt, and other unwanted elements, ensuring your tunes keep playing no matter where you go.” The case features a clear screen protector, a wheel protector, removable rotary belt clip, and anti-slip grip surface with side “goose bumps.” The iSkin Duo sells for $30.

Black and red is nice. But I like the older carbon.
They didn’t replace it though. They just added it to the family

It’s too bad they don’t just let you choose which inner and outer color you want. I’m sure some people would like to mix and match.

The problem is that the prices would go up then, so they would probably loose customers rather then gain.

The same company has just released a new case for the 5G iPod today, the eVo³ (I’m not sure about its looks, not yet anyhow):

are the screens bigger on the newer colors/cases than the original ones? I heard the newer ones would have bigger screens because people were complaining about how the older iskin duos covered up parts of the bottom and top of the screen? does anyone know or have anything to say about this?

Yes, they really do glow in the dark. It is not the brightest glow in the universe but they glow enough that if you had a power outage, you could find your nano. They glow a blue-ish color that looks very cool. I wouldn’t say it’s a faint glow, it seems to be a medium glow to me, but you might think of it differently since you are not me. As for the screen protector questions, I don’t know. I have one of the original iSkins. Hope this helped ( :

Should I take the case off when charging to protect my nano from overheating? If so, is it relatively easy to take the duo off?

Also, does anybody know about the screen protectors, please??

You don’t have to take off the duo when it’s charging - it doesn’t overheat in the case.
BTW, the case only glows in almost total darkness - if it is nighttime and your door is only open six inches, and your case is in the room, it will hardly glow at all. It works best when your door is all-the-way closed.
