I just received mine and can’t wait to return them. The ear buds supplied by Apple are better and more confortable. There is no bass! Absolutely none!

Podsmack, you might want to search the forums or the countless postings on the internet aimed at helping people who can’t follow the instructions properly and therefore think the earphones have no bass. They’re harder to put in right. Learn how. And if they’re uncomfortable, try one of the 5 other sets of earpieces that come with them. There are small, medium, and large in the silicon and in the foamies. The foam ones are more comfortable for some people.

“There is no bass! Absolutely none!”
That means you are not getting a proper seal from the sleeves.
These are not fool proof.
These earphones perform. They were included in the Grammy’s gift basket for the performers and most top musicians that have absolute no budget problems use the Shure earphones for stage monitoring.
JC is right. You need to take the time and learn how to insert them and use these. It’s a 5-8 day period on average.
