New ‘skater’ iPod commercial airs
Apple debuted a new iPod and iTunes television commercial during tonight’s Saturday Night Live on NBC. It featured the new single “Feel Good Inc” by the Gorillaz. Like the previous ads, the spot features silhouetted iPod-toting dancers in front of colorful backgrounds — only this time they’re all on roller skates. This is the first new iPod commercial since January’s iPod shuffle ad, and the first for full-size iPods since October’s ad featuring U2. Apple has yet to post the new commercial. Update: The ad is now available on Apple’s website.

i thought that this was an awesome commercial, despite what others may say, i really like the song. My favorite was the one with “jerk it out” but this is up there with it.

The ad is great. Everytime I hear it come on, I always turn around to watch it. I already have an iPod mini, and it just makes me feel like listening to it. Downloading the Gorillaz song now, too.

Yo, I wanna give a Big Shoutout to my Roomate & Best Friend, Kyle Dutcher. He was the first SK8er on the New Ipod Commerical. Also, Paul, Dean and Doug, the three that was doing Routine SK8 - Steps together at the end of the Ipod Commercial. We all SK8 at the Same Rink in Atlanta, Georgia. It’s called Cascade Family Skating Center, off of M.L.K. Drive. Every Sunday Night is Colloge Night from 8:00pm - to 12:00am. That’s where you can catch some of the SK8ers that was in that new Ipod Commercial. Checkout http://www.skategroove.com, & http://www.jivebiscuit.com to catch more of out SK8 Crew, “Da Elete!!” It happened so Fast. I had to Work that Sunday Night, while Kyle went the Night that they were looking for the Top SK8ers to be in the Commercial. They - Producer, Dallas Austin & Crew, saw Kyle and said, “I want that White Boy!!” Dallas Austin is Famous for Producing Albums like TLC, Toni Braxton, and other Famous Artists. He really wish I wasn’t working that Night, because we had a Bad-### Routine, together. They Flew him, Paul, Dean, Doug first class to California the next weekend to Shoot the Commercial. And, that’s how it started!! It’s hard to Live with him, now. He has an Agent & everything. I’m not Jealous of him, but now he doesn’t go SK8in’ for fun, like we used to. You can also Check him out in an upcoming SK8 Movie called, “Roll Bounce,” featuring: Rap Artist - Bow Wow. It will be in Theatres in September.
