New SNL skits now available on iTunes store
Following the free “Lazy Sunday” spoof music video from Saturday Night Live, Apple has added a bevy of new SNL skits and collections to the iTunes Music Store. Comedy fans can currently choose from a number of skits from the 1975 and 1994 seasons, as well as TV commercial parodies, and several “Best Of” collections featuring John Belushi, Chris Farley, Dan Akroyd, Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon, Chris Rock, Dana Carvey, Adam Sandler, Gilda Radner, and Christopher Walken. The individual skits are priced at $1.99, as are the hour+ collections.

anyone notice that most of the Best Of’s are only 1.99, while a few are 9.99—even though all run over an hour each?! Hmm…

I take that back. They’re listed at 1.99, but when you drop one in you cart and go to checkout, they suddenly list as 9.99. Must be working out the bugs. Knew it was too good to be true. Oh well.
Lame, though, seeing as you can buy an entire episode of Lost for 1.99. Guess they don’t want to detract from Best of DVD sales—although you can find those in the bargain bin for 5.50 quite often.

9.99 for an hour long show? WTF! You can buy the dvd for less. And 1.99 for some skits that are only 2 minutes long?
And people wonder why folks use bit torrent/p2p.
They need to change the article,the ‘best ofs’ are not 1.99 per. I’d pay 2.99 tops. What a joke.
