NewMacGadgets has introduced the iPad 2 Security Base, a security focused version of its popular iPad 2 Display Dock. Following the same general design as the original Display Dock, the Security Base adds additional features aimed at business and retail customers where security is a concern. Similar in design to displays used in Apple Stores, the base includes security brackets with Torx tamper-proof screws, mounting holes and 3M clear pressure sensitive adhesive for mounting to hard surfaces. The Security Base also allows removal of the iPad 2 with an included Torx t-10 bit. The base is constructed from 1.25” clear acrylic and slots are also provided for the charging cord and earphones. The iPad 2 Security Base is available now from NewMacGadgets.com for $90.
