NewsGator Mobile for iPhone now available

NewsGator Technologies has released its NewsGator Mobile for iPhone, a web-based RSS reader designed especially for the iPhone. The reader — located at http://m.newsgator.com — automatically recognizes the iPhone, and allows users to read RSS feeds and mark items as read while they’re on the go. NewsGator Mobile for iPhone also supports online synchronization with popular desktop-based RSS readers FeedDemon for PC and NetNewsWire for Mac. A free NewsGator account is required.

I just learned about this. The user interface is much, much better on the iPhone than other RSS readers, especially because you can mark everything as read with a single button on the upper right-hand side of each screen.
It is called Newsgator. Go here to set up the RSS feeds you want to subscribe to:
http://www.newsgator.com/ngs/subscriber/reader/index.aspx
(You will need to create an account).
Go here on your iPhone to access the RSS reader through Safari:
http://m.newsgator.com/Signon.aspx?ReturnUrl=/Default.aspx
I have added the iPhone Newsgator RSS URL to my Favorites in IE, and had it synch over as a bookmark on Safari on the iPhone.

Yes, the interface is good when reading, but MAN the interface for editing and organizing your feeds depends on a really clunky Web 2.0 interface that is slow and annoying. Thank god you only have to access that aspect once in awhile.
